The organization committee has decided to place the order for the design and construction of all temporary constructions with an European syndicate. The members thereof are the Dutch tent constructor De Boer, the British canteen specialist PKL and the Swiss exhibition and event
constructor Messerli.
"We are very happy to have won this pitch, we had to prevail us against renowned competitors from France, Asia and Switzerland", said Andreas Messerli, CEO.
Messerli is responsible for the creation of the media center, all restaurants and the Main Dining Hall which corresponds to a surface of 23'000 m2. This order ranges in the size of a two-digit million amount.

The stand in a modern designer chalet style looked like an oasis of good taste and comfort standing side by side with the high-tech aluminium and glass look of our co-exhibiting competitors. Visitors from all over the world stopped by the stand fascinated by the unique atmosphere and stepped in with tired legs but wide-awake to relax and enjoy the
world of Messerli.
The exhibit - with its look so unlike the others - has temporarily almost been overrun. A great experience for being the first time at the past retailer exhibition.
From the outside the black cube impressed by its exhibition of Swiss products and particularities, from the inside by its very special atmosphere with fire-place, cowhide and Swiss coffee specialities. The big guest book has been used with a lot of enthusiasm and filled noticeably with many exotic wishes - from Japanese pictograms up to Egyptian
hieroglyphs.
Many a one returned repeatedly back to the exhibit during the fair - also just out of pure delight in the obvious Swiss Individuality and quality.
We await eagerly what is going to develop from these numerous interesting contacts.
